Whitelisting from Anti-Virus Software
Unfortunately, due to the nature of how Synapse X exploit works, anti-virus software has always been an issue for it. Synapse X uses tactics that are also often utilized by malicious programs, causing false positives in anti-virus software.
We’ll teach you how to whitelist Synapse X’s folder in Windows Defender, the most widely used anti-virus on Windows computers. If you use a different anti-virus program (Norton, Malware bytes, etc.), whitelist the Synapse X folder before moving on to the next step, which is creating your Synapse X account. If not, however, continue the steps outlined below.
- To begin, go to the start menu and select the ‘Windows Security app.
- After that, select the ‘Virus & Threat Protection’ tab.
- Select ‘Manage settings’ from the drop-down menu.
- Scroll down to the ‘Add or delete exclusions’ section.
- Finally, choose the directory we extracted the zip file from earlier under ‘Add an exclusion,’ under ‘Folder’.
Windows Defender has now been successfully whitelisted for Synapse X folders. Now we can proceed to install Synapse X.
